Originally from Sri Lanka, Dinuka’s journey has taken her through the United Kingdom and Australia before making New Zealand home.
She holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Communication and Electronics from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Her engineering background still shapes the way she approaches design today — with an analytical eye, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
Having lived in different countries and cultures has also shaped the way Dinuka connects with people. But every project begins in the same place: listening.
She works closely with clients to understand how they live, what they need from their space and what will make everyday life easier, creating kitchens that balance thoughtful design with real-world function.

Dinuka visits your home to understand the space, how you live and what you want from your new kitchen. We talk about what is not working, what matters most to you and what you would love to create.
We develop your kitchen layout around your lifestyle, storage needs, workflow and the way you want the space to feel. This is where the ideas begin to take shape.
Experience your proposed kitchen before it is built. At the Blum showroom, you can see your new layout come to life in a full-scale kitchen setup, move through the space, test clearances and explore how storage and functionality will work in everyday life. This gives you the chance to experience the design before the final decisions are made.
Once the layout feels right, we confirm the design and project scope, complete the contract and guide you through your material selections. Cabinetry colours, benchtops, handles, hardware and finishing details all come together here.
Your kitchen then moves into detailed planning, manufacture and installation. We stay connected throughout the journey, coordinating the key stages and keeping the project moving towards completion.

Project Manager & CAD Designer Jinny helps turn the design into detailed plans and manages the project as it moves through the next stages. She coordinates technical information, schedules and the many details needed to keep each project moving forward.
